COLOUR FUSION

IN A NUTSHELL

Full-colour designs printed onto clear film, ready to be applied to most hard, smooth surfaces.

PRINTING PROCESS

Printed at 580mm × 910mm gang sheet and kiss cut so each design is individually separated.

ADVANTAGES

Ideal when your client already has the product, wants to apply it themselves, or needs branding on items like laptops, tech gear, drinkware, or larger pieces we don’t carry.

LIMITATIONS

Not suitable for fabric or flexible materials

SUBLIMATION

IN A NUTSHELL

Digital print is applied to the product using heat, which bonds the design to the item.

PRINTING PROCESS

This method enhances polyester items with vibrant, long-lasting colours that resist fading. Sublimation dyes are printed in reverse on large sheets of specialised paper and heat-pressed onto fabric.

ADVANTAGES

The material absorbs the ink, making the prints resistant to fading, cracking, and peeling

LIMITATIONS

Works on white polyester fabric only

DIGITAL TRANSFER

IN A NUTSHELL

This involves printing a design on transfer film that can be applied to fabrics or other materials using a heat press.

PRINTING PROCESS

This method uses a digital printer and a heat press. After printing, the transfers are applied to the item using a time and pressure-controlled heat press.

ADVANTAGES

Digital transfers are compatible with all item colours and will remain vibrant regardless of the item’s colour

LIMITATIONS

Some fabrics may be heat-sensitive, restricting suitable printing surfaces

DIGITAL LABEL

PRINTING PROCESS

Digital labels are printed using the digital CMYK process onto rolls of adhesive-backed vinyl and then applied on to various products.

ADVANTAGES

Allows multi-colour printing on one setup 

LIMITATIONS

Since labels are applied manually, their positioning cannot be guaranteed

Unable to print neon colours due to CMYK process

SCREEN PRINT

IN A NUTSHELL

Ink is pressed through fine mesh screens to apply your designs.

PRINTING PROCESS

A screen stencil is created for the design which is then placed over the item. Ink is applied through the screen, with each colour requiring a separate screen. The result is the screen’s image transferred to the print surface. After printing, the item is cured to dry.

ADVANTAGES

Provides good opacity and coverage

Highly durable, resistant to fading, scratching, and washing

LIMITATIONS

Can only print up to 4 colours; for designs with more than 4 colours, consider Digital Transfer.

PAD PRINT

IN A NUTSHELL

This method works like a stamp: a design is inked and pressed onto the product.

PRINTING PROCESS

This method uses a silicone pad to transfer an image from a laser-etched plate onto an item. The plate holds the inked image, which is lifted by the pad and reapplied to the substrate.

ADVANTAGES

Can print on various surfaces and materials, including irregular shapes and textures

LIMITATIONS

Can print up to four colours on select items; for designs with more than 1 colour, consider Digital Printing

Ink drying times can be 24-48 hours on some item types

LASER ENGRAVE

IN A NUTSHELL

A laser is used to burn or etch a logo onto the product.

PRINTING PROCESS

This type of decoration uses a laser beam to mark high-quality text and graphics on various products. The machine is configured to accurately capture fine details and position the logo correctly.

ADVANTAGES

Engravings are permanent 

LIMITATIONS

Cannot engrave on plastic or soft materials, but can engrave on items with soft-feel finishes

The colour produced is restricted to the product material because it does not use ink

ROTARY DIGITAL PRINT

This involves printing digital-based artwork directly onto cylindrical products like drinkware.

PRINTING PROCESS

This technique uses a cylindrical surface that spins while ink is applied to the bottle, creating a smooth and seamless print.

ADVANTAGES

Allows multi-colour printing on one setup

Allows for continuous designs that wrap around objects

Can print both matte and glossy finishes 

LIMITATIONS

Artwork featuring gradients that transition to transparency or no colour cannot be reproduced

Cannot print metallic and neon

DIGITAL PRINT

This method prints digital-based artwork directly onto various media

PRINTING PROCESS

This method uses Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black (CMYK), and White inks, which are cured using UV light. Artwork is sent to the printer as digital files and printed directly onto the product using inkjet or laser technology.

ADVANTAGES

Allows multi-colour printing on one setup

Great for products with flat and slightly curved surfaces

Pantone colour matching is possible for items on any colour, including dark coloured items

LIMITATIONS

Artwork featuring gradients that transition to transparency or no colour cannot be reproduced

Cannot print metallic and neon
